ARTIKA at the ARCO 40 (+1) Anniversary

ARCOmadrid is a can’t-miss event in the international art market and the only one celebrated every year. The art fair marked its 40th birthday in 2021, but because of the pandemic this is the year that ARCO celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The event was held from 23 to 27 February at IFEMA and once again featured an exceptional selection of national and international galleries, including 185 galleries from 30 countries, more than 300 collectors and 200 professionals from 40 countries.

An initiative like ARTIKA couldn’t miss this event, the perfect place to promote artistic creation. This time the public was able to see and admire artist’s books like the The Dreams of Frida Kahlo and Jaume Plensa 61.

In 2015, the presentation of 58, the first of our editions dedicated to Jaume Plensa, marked the beginning of our participation in ARCO. ARTIKA’s editions, works of art in their own right, have been part of this event designed to promote the most innovative projects in the art world.
