ARTIKA honoured for the Second Consecutive Year with the 2026 Pirámide Gremial Award for Its edition “Canticle of the Sun”

On 5 June, the 73rd edition of the Graphic Arts Awards, organised by the Guild of the Graphic Industry and Communication of Catalonia, took place. At the 2026 Graphic Gala, ARTIKA was recognised for the editorial and artisanal excellence of “Canticle of the Sun”, the edition dedicated to Joan Miró.

This award marks ARTIKA’s second consecutive distinction: in 2025, the winning work was “Sorolla in private” by Joaquín Sorolla, while this year ARTIKA once again stands out with one of the most distinctive editorial projects inspired by Joan Miró’s creative universe.

The ceremony was held in the Palau de la Música, a historic venue that brought together some of the most prominent voices in the industry. The Extraordinary Pirámide Gremial Award recognises excellence in graphic creation in all its forms, highlighting outstanding achievement, technical and artistic innovation, and the immense potential of the graphic arts industry.

The jury evaluated key aspects such as print quality, finishing techniques, design and graphic concept, as well as technical complexity, execution and innovation. The winning edition stood out for its meticulous attention to detail, the quality of its finishes and the complexity of its handcrafted production, receiving the highest evaluation of the awards. A distinction that reaffirms the strength and prestige of this unique work.

As the organisers of the awards stated, “the magnificent work, as in the previous edition, has transcended its category and won the highest distinction, the Pirámide Gremial”, an achievement that further strengthens ARTIKA’s track record within the world of art publishing.

The edition recognised by the jury is one of the most ambitious editorial projects dedicated to Joan Miró within ARTIKA’s catalogue. It stands out for translating the artist’s poetic and experimental universe into book form through a carefully crafted combination of artistic reproduction, research and contemporary craftsmanship.
