ARTIKA at the 30th anniversary of contemporary art fair Estampa

Estampa celebrated its 30th edition in Madrid from October 13th to the 16th with over 100 galleries and artwork by nearly 1,000 national and international artists.

This major market event is a benchmark for gallery owners and art collectors in Spain. This year’s fair was a commemorative edition for Estampa, which has strengthened its influence in the promotion of contemporary art over the past three decades.

The event brought together the most important names in the Spanish art market at the IFEMA MADRID exhibition centre, with a special focus on the state-of-the-art galleries.

ARTIKA participated in this special edition with its exclusive art books and with a new addition to its catalogue: Vía Crucis, by Fernando Botero.

The 30th anniversary of Estampa was attended by the artists Jordi Teixidor and José María Yturralde, two creators whose work focuses on the study of music and sound.

Like it has in previous editions, Estampa awarded acquisition prizes, training grants and artist residencies to promote the quality and uniqueness of new talent.

For the fifth consecutive year, ARTIKA’s attendance at Estampa represented an opportunity to present its unique editions to professionals, the media and national and international collectors.
